On Friday, Brandon Wahlberg joined me in-studio as we reacted to the Cleveland Cavaliers ending the Boston Celtics' season in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals. We looked ahead to the future of the C's and discussed some potential moves they could make this offseason. And we gave our picks for the NBA Finals.
On Thursday's podcast, comedian Will Noonan joined me in-studio. We reacted to the Boston Celtics getting crushed by the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals (16:30). We also discussed the Celtics' options with the No. 1 overall pick (40:25). And I responded to being mentioned out of nowhere by Mike Felger and Tony Massarotti on their drive-time radio show "Felger and Mazz" (26:40). Plus, we opened the show with some random thoughts on marijuana deliveries and Uber vs Lyft. Also, we couldn't let Will leave the studio without giving his hilarious Gisele impression while discussing all of Tom Brady's concussions (57:40).
On a special Tuesday edition of the podcast, I reacted to the Boston Celtics' Game 7 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday night. I also looked ahead to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers and gave my prediction for the series. Plus, some thoughts on Tom Brady gracing the cover of Madden '18, David Ortiz' new book, and more.
On a special Wednesday edition of the podcast, Chris Mannix from Yahoo Sports joined me in-studio. We discussed the NBA Playoffs, the Draft, the Boston Celtics' game plan this offseason, and more. Plus, we closed out the show talking about Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez and what it means for boxing. And will we ever see Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor? And should we even want to? All that and more.
On Monday's podcast, I reacted to the huge boxing announcement on Saturday night that Canelo Alvarez will finally agree to fight Gennady Golovkin. Plus, I shared my thoughts on the Boston Celtics getting embarrassed by the Washington Wizards in Games 3 and 4 in D.C., while taking a look at the rest of the NBA Playoffs. Also, I can't ignore what's happening in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and I took a look at the MLB standings for the first time all year.
On Wednesday's Emergency Edition of "The Danny Picard Show," I reacted to Chris Sale throwing at Manny Machado on Tuesday night while striking out 11 in the Boston Red Sox' win over the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway. While doing so, I proclaimed Sale the new captain of the team, and explained how his leadership that was on display Tuesday night is everything the Red Sox needed. I also reacted to Isaiah Thomas' 53-point performance in the Boston Celtics' Game 2 win over the Washington Wizards. And I continue to laugh at those who are just beginning to come around on IT being a "max" player.
On an Emergency Edition of "The Danny Picard Show," I opened the podcast with a few thoughts on the racial slurs thrown at Adam Jones at Fenway Park. But the main purpose of the show was to react to the Boston Red Sox getting embarrassed by the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night, and how all of that embarrassment ultimately falls back on Dustin Pedroia. I'm hitting the panic button on the Red Sox because I believe their problems are much bigger than on-the-field errors, especially after some of the postgame comments made by the team.
On Monday's podcast, Brandon Wahlberg joined me in-studio as we reacted to the Boston Celtics advancing to the second round of the playoffs and winning Game 1 over the Washington Wizards. We discussed the C's chances of getting out of the East. We also discussed the recent Red Sox series with the Chicago Cubs at Fenway and the upcoming series with the Baltimore Orioles. Also, our thoughts on the NFL Draft, the Big 3 Draft, Mike Milbury calling P.K. Subban a clown, and much more.
On a special Tuesday-edition of the podcast, ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates joined me in-studio just days before the 2017 NFL Draft. We discussed the New England Patriots' crazy offseason, including Tom Brady's future, Jimmy Garoppolo, Malcolm Butler, Rob Gronkowski, and more. Plus, what will the Cleveland Browns do with the No. 1 overall pick? And we also discussed what it was like for him to work at ESPN, as a Massachusetts native, during Deflategate.
On Monday's podcast, I opened the show by crushing Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia for throwing his teammate under the bus after an altercation with Manny Machado over the weekend in Baltimore against the Orioles. I told a few Pedroia stories and even looked back into Machado's history with on-the-field drama. Plus, I closed out the show with my reaction to the Boston Bruins being eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs while the Boston Celtics fought back into their first-round playoff series with the Chicago Bulls.
